Law and Equality
Throughout my Organizational Studies education, equality will be my focus. Drawing from experiences in class like "Racial Capitalism and strategies from classes like "How to Create a Social Movement That Creates Change," I plan on continuing to fight to secure equality. As I look forward to the prospect of law school, I envision a future where I can challenge the status quo and reshape the legal arena into one that prioritizes equity over privilege and status. It is disheartening to witness how law, intended to uphold justice and fairness, is often used as a weapon by those of higher income and status, perpetuating systemic inequalities. My aim is to disrupt this pattern and forge a legal landscape where everyone, regardless of background or resources, can access the protections and opportunities they deserve.
