Optimizing Healthcare Organizations Using Creative Strategy and Entrepreneurial Thinking
Healthcare systems are essential to improving the quality of life for individuals and communities worldwide. Access to quality healthcare contributes to life expectancy, economic prosperity, and scientific advancement, which are all fundamental aspects of human growth and development. Unfortunately, healthcare systems in the United States are riddled with inefficiencies and can further drive inequities in our country. Through my OS major, I hope to gain a deeper understanding of the complexities of medical organizations by designing a unique pathway with classes spanning many topics, including public health, business, and economics. I seek to gain skills in creative strategy and entrepreneurship with the intention of designing creative solutions for healthcare and life sciences organizations.
