Creating Innovative Environments in the Lens of Effectiveness and Sustainability
Every organization needs some form of creativity in order to be sustainable. With more attention on environmentalism than ever, every industry is being held accountable in more ways than one. The duality of sustainability is one that piques my interest. Being able to maintain a high performing organization that can serve its communities sustainably is rooted in creativity and decision making.
My pathway is designed to incorporate and inspire creativity amongst teams in an efficient and worthwhile way. As I explore these dynamic industries, I am drawn to the excitement of creating disruptive ideas and prototyping new concepts. I see myself as a designer of sorts, crafting ideas and turning them into reality with the help of a team.
As I progress in my academic journey, I will continue to develop my skills through courses such as MO 463 - Creativity at Work: Theories and Practices, which offers frameworks and methods for designing and implementing creativity in real work situations, and will provide me with the tools necessary to continue innovating in the automotive industry. Similarly, classes such as ORGSTUDY 419 - Business, Sustainability, and Justice, which examines how businesses can approach sustainability and diversity, equity, and inclusion, will help me understand the bigger picture of the industry and how I can make a positive impact.
I see these skills flourishing in the automotive industry, which has been a longtime passion of mine. Just like a car requires both an innovative engine and skilled driver to truly perform at its best, the automotive industry demands individuals who can think creatively and lead effectively. With my passion for innovation, dedication to project management, and desire to make a positive impact, I am confident that I can be a driving force in this exciting industry.
