Understanding the Importance of Inclusivity to Create a Positive Working Environment for Minorities
My interest in studying the psychological effect of racial code-switching has motivated me to explore the impact of workplace practices and structures in promoting diversity and inclusion. I hope to expand my knowledge about positive organizational theory and learn how organizations can evaluate their company culture to encourage minorities to be their authentic selves. In addition, I aim to use my pathway to gain the skills needed to promote healthy collaboration and encourage prosocial behavior.
