Creating Effective Human Capital/Leadership Management Systems through Design-Thinking Strategies
People shape organizations, which is why institutions should work to design positive organizational systems using human- centered strategies. I am interested in how user experience and system-design principles can be translated to positive organizational scholarship to support both customer and employee experiences within organizations. In tandem with my UX (user experience) minor from the School of Information, I plan on utilizing design-thinking strategies to develop human-centered organizational environments. My coursework exposes me to both micro and macro-level understandings of sociological and psychological concepts, business and management operations, and communication systems. This interdisciplinary approach to my studies equips me with both technical skills for UX product design, as well as a multi-faceted understanding of organizational operations and strategies.
