Examining the Relationship Between Nonprofits, Government, and the Corporate Sector Through a Lens of Social Justice
My Organizational Studies pathway aims to delve deeper into the intersection between nonprofits and the government. While both the government and nonprofit organizations deliver public goods and human services, they go about funding and outreach in separate ways. Therefore, examining this partnership on a deeper level is important to ensure there is measurable impact and real results. Paired with my minor in Law, Justice, and Social Change, I hope to hold these two organizations accountable for their promises and commit to working together for the greater good, especially in communities who are disproportionately affected by injustice.
