PATHWAY
Leveraging Decision Science and Human Behavior to Implement Strategic Changes in Organizations
Human behavior is intrinsically linked to the ability of an organization to implement strategic change. By understanding the motivations of human decisions and actions, organizational leaders can more effectively and successfully introduce large and small-scale changes. I hope to utilize my pathway to become an expert in leveraging decision science toward creating more effective and strategic changes in organizations and supporting people in adapting to such changes. Through a double major in Organizational Studies and Cognitive Science, I will cultivate knowledge in management, strategy, organizational structure, leadership, human decision making, and behavior to curate an education focused on the successful implementation of organizational improvements based on psychological insights into how people function.
I look forward to exploring the multiple avenues this pathway could take me in my future career including the implementation of effective diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, human resources, mobilization of human capital, change management, and consulting.
