OS alumna Shari Brown (’10) provides educational and operational leadership for a farm to school and zero waste programs and she co-founded Chicago's first Truck Farm, a mini-farm planted in the bed of a pick-up truck.  After starting her career in Google, Gina Valo (OS ‘05) recently joined Opower, a "double bottom-line" company using big data and behavioral psychology to motivate utilities and their customers to save energy. As a Technical Project Manager, Gina works with large utilities to implement the Opower platform, combining her passion for technology with her desire to make an impact.
