Anti-Racism Collaborative Program Manager
About
Victoria Spain is the Anti-Racism Collaborative Program Manager at the National Center for Institutional Diversity (NCID), where she provides day-to-day programmatic support for activities and initiatives for U-M community engagement around research and action focused on anti-racism and racial justice.
Victoria spent most of her career in Nonprofit Arts administration, working at organizations such as Detroit Opera, Detroit Institute of Arts, and the University Musical Society. Victoria grew a passion for Social Justice and Advocacy work early in her career and went on to participate in DEI and Anti-racism committees at the organizations she worked with. In recent years she chose to pursue a career in DEI and Antiracsim work. Victoria was Previously a Training Program Coordinator and Antiracism Oversight Committee (AROC) Program Manager with The Office of Health Equity and Inclusion at Michigan Medicine.
