Tara Beebani earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology with a minor in Near Eastern Languages and Cultures in 2008 from U-M, Ann Arbor. She advanced her studies with a Master of Art (MA) from the Middle East Studies department in 2013, and a Master of Science (MS) through the School of Public Health in 2020 from U-M, Ann Arbor. She has been a lecturer at the University of Michigan since 2013. She also served as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Texas, Austin, and University of Maryland, College Park.
Tara has been actively involved in volunteering at University of Michigan and Southeast Michigan. Some of her volunteer work includes volunteering as an interpreter at the U-M Law School Iraqi Refugee Assistance Program, SEM American Red Cross, Project Healthy Schools, and the Detroit Institute of Arts. Tara Beebani's work in education, and community exemplifies her dedication to academic excellence and fostering cross-cultural understanding.
