Submissions for the 2026 Judaic Studies Journal, led by co-directors Gabrielle Taichman and Hannah Goldwin, are now open! Any student taking a Judaic Studies course is invited to submit an essay to be considered for publication in the print volume of our journal, or a non-essay work, to be considered for publication in our expanded, online journal.
Appropriate essay submissions may include academic essays, translations, and literary review, as well as non-essay works (e.g. poetry, musical compositions, and artwork) for publication in the print and digital versions of our journal. Submissions from students pursing a degree in Judaic Studies will be given priority during the review process.

The U-M Judaic Studies Journal is created by and for University of Michigan undergraduates engaging with the broad academic discipline of Judaic Studies. This biannual publication, which is supported by the Frankel Center for Judaic Studies, will be a place for Michigan students to both showcase their scholarly works and to engage in a larger community of thinkers at U of M.
