About
Anna Southon is a senior majoring in public policy at the Ford School with minors in environment and art history. She is particularly interested in environmental policy, environmental economics, and sustainable urban planning. Anna is from the Chicago area. On campus, Anna serves as the finance chair for the Kelsey Museum of Archaeology’s Student Advisory Group. She is also a member of NSCS and PiTE club. Previously, Anna worked as a research assistant in Dr. Erika Tucker’s lab helping to digitally catalog the Natural History Museum’s dragonfly collection. In her free time, Anna enjoys exploring museums, playing intramural sports, and spending time in nature exploring the arboretum. At the Humanities Institute Anna is excited to help further engage the student body with the humanities, and learn more about arts policy.
