Graduate student fellows pursuing humanities reserach spend a year in residence in the institute writing their dissertations and participating in a cross-disciplinary, non-public weekly seminar. - Institute Grants to Support Humanities Events
The institute co-sponsors a wide variety of faculty and graduate student projects—all of which serve to strengthen intellectual and cultural life on campus and beyond. The events we fund through minigrants must have a component open to the public. - Digital Humanities Summer Institute
The Institute for the Humanities provides funding for up to five humanities graduate students to attend the DHSI at the Université de Montréal, Canada. Each week includes skills training workshops as well as a selection of colloquia, “unconferences,” panels, and institute lectures.
