About
Agnes Dunne is a junior majoring in social theory and practice and psychology in the LSA Residential College. In the RC she studied Spanish, a longtime passion for her, and developed an interest in mental wellbeing in the United States, the focus of her major plan. She is passionate about civic engagement, advocacy, and social change, especially around health and wellbeing. As a standardized patient in the School of Nursing, she helps to train future providers. In addition, Agnes serves as president of the Residence Halls Association, as well as engaging in local and national politics. In her free time, she enjoys being outside and exploring new places, being a part of scouting for more than 15 years. In the past, Agnes has served in various positions within Venturing, the co-ed program of the Boy Scouts of America. She looks forward to the year ahead working in the Institute for the Humanities and sharing the power of the humanities with others.
