About
Abigail Haile is a senior studying anthropology and psychology with a minor in food in the environment through Program in the Environment. She has worked previously as a stacks assistant in the Hatcher Graduate Library and as a tutor through other programs such as the Spanish Language Internship, the Michigan Mentorship Program, and Proyecto Avance: Latino Mentoring Association. She also volunteers at the Campus Farm, as well as in the English Language Institute as a Conversation Circles facilitator with international graduate students. In her free time, Abigail enjoys reading, analyzing media, gardening, and exploring botanical gardens. From this experience at the Institute for the Humanities, she will work to accrue programming and media skills through forming events and coordinating with peers and other staff. These skills, in combination with her interests in sustainable food systems and diversity and equity initiatives and education, she hopes to use in community outreach and organization to provide aid and resources for her local community.
