We are pleased to share that 2025-26 Public Humanities Intern Gianna Limarvin (International Studies, 2026) has been been selected as a member of the National Humanities Leadership Council for 2025-26.

Established by the National Humanities Center, the Council brings together a select group of undergraduate students from across the country to develop leadership skills grounded in the humanities. Students accepted to the Council participate in a unique series of interactive experiences with humanities scholars and leaders. In round tables and discussion sessions, they explore the essential importance of humanistic perspectives in addressing the concerns of contemporary society. And, based on the consensus of the Council membership, they may also focus on specific projects and engagement with the communities at their institutions.

The Council meets regularly online for topical discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities with experts from a range of humanities fields. All Council members will also have the opportunity to pursue individual and/or small-group projects of your choices, supported by NHC mentors.

Congratulations to Gianna on this exciting opportunity!
