I am purusing a joint JD/PhD in History here at Michigan with a focus on Indigenous legal histories in the United States. I am especially interested in legal exercises of Indigenous sovereinty within the context of education in the boarding school era.
I am an assistant editor on the journal Middle West Review and am the CEO and co-founder of South Dakota College Connections, a non-profit dedicated to providing mentorship services to high school students applying to college.
I am happy to talk with anyone about first-gen experiences applying to college/graduate school/law school; getting involved in academic journals; beginning graduate study in History without having an undergraduate background in History; or anyone interested in pursuing a JD/PhD!
