Bio: Hi! I'm Audrey Newman, a senior studying biochemistry and German. I took part in the Academic Year in Freiburg (AYF) program in my sophomore year (2023-2024), where I did a Praktikum at an ecological education center known as the Ökostation, and I'm currently working on my German honors thesis focusing on medieval antisemitism in Freiburg. Outside of German, I also work in the Walter Lab as an undergraduate research assistant and am a member of the Michigan Ballroom Dance Team! But if I'm not dancing or studying, I love to read (mostly fantasy and alternate histories), write, and bake.
