Sarah received her BA in German from the University of Michigan in 2019. After earning an MA in Transatlantic Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Sarah returned to Michigan in 2021. Her primary research interest revolves around sexuality in twentieth-century Germany, specifically visual representations of gender and sex in avant-garde art forms, specifically painting, sculpture, and film.
