It is five-hundred years ago that Martin Luther published his 95 Theses on October 31, 1517 – a religious debate at University of Wittenberg that caused the breakup of Latin Christianity. University of Michigan’s Graduate Library will commemorate the Reformation with an exhibition on the German Reformer Martin Luther and his time. The exhibit in the Audubon Room is open to visitors between September 5 and November 15; it is curated by Prof. Helmut Puff (German / History). The date of the exhibition’s inaugural lecture will be posted on our and the library’s website. Guided tours will be available upon request.
