The Max Kade German Residence hosted the Vienna Experience on Monday, February 5, 2018. The event, made possible by the generous support of the Max Kade Foundation, was run completely by the students of the Max Kade German Residence. The goal of the Vienna Experience event was to share with North Quad and the entire U-M community the information the residents have been learning about Vienna this year in the Max Kade courses (German 310 and 312) and during their weekly Kaffeestunde.

Max Kade residents took full advantage of the opportunity to share their knowledge in community outreach. Educational activities about Vienna included a photo booth station with Viennese props, Vienna trivia, a quotation game, a coloring station, a mural, ballroom dancing, a food station with Wiener Schnitzel, and a prize table with tshirts. Resident Kyle Johnson was the DJ for the event and played Austrian and Viennese music. Guests of the event enjoyed themselves. View event photos, taken by resident Emily Cox, on Facebook.
