About
                
                Tilman Börgers works on game theory and mechanism design and is the author of a textbook on mechanism design. He holds a PhD in economics from the London School of Economics. Before Michigan he was at University College London and at the University of Basel. He is a former managing editor of the Review of Economic Studies and a former lead editor of the Journal of Economic Theory. He is a fellow of the Econometric Society, a fellow of the Game Theory Society, and an Economic Theory fellow.
