Position Title: Communications & Public Relations Intern
Duration:
Internship is full-time (40 hours/week) for 6-8 weeks, beginning mid-May and ending no later than July 30th.
Number of Positions: 1-2
Responsibilties:
- Website updates, which includes editing English texts and publishing information and news. German language proficiency is desired, but not required, for translating website content into German.
- Strategic planning of events and analyses in collaboration with other staff and the Director.
- Outreach to reputable American crowdfunding platforms
- Global search for possible donors
- Develop 3 project proposals in collaboration with the Director
- Researching relevant information for posting on website
- Developing a communications or marketing plan
Compensation:
Unpaid, Company will help find students safe housing (apartments, shared spaces, etc) for the entire period of the program. Interns will be responsible for the rent.
Language Requirements:
English only. German and Russian, or at least one language would be an advantage.
Desired Qualifications:
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and experience with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other social media platforms
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Candidates should have knowledge or experience in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or Journalism.
