University of Michigan Library
The University of Michigan houses collections that cover the region of Southeast Asia, which includes: Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar (Burma),Singapore, Timor Leste, and Vietnam. The library also provides access to a large number of resources in Southeast Asian languages.
Through the support of past federal funding and its generous donor, the Gosling-Lim Library Fund, the Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS) expanded the University of Michigan Library's Southeast Asia Collection to more than 75,000 books (physical and electronic).
The University of Michigan Center for Southeast Asian Studies offers travel grants for scholars of Southeast Asia to conduct research at the U-M Libraries.
