Graduate Student Instructor
About
Mohammad is a Master's student in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan. Before coming to U-M, he received his B.S. in Computer Science from San Jose State University and worked as a software engineer at a database startup in California.
He is most excited about working with COMPFOR students because of the interdisciplinary perspectives they bring to computing—especially exploring how technical decisions reflect social values.
Outside of class, Mohammad enjoys watching Detroit Pistons games, trying ube-flavored desserts, and exploring how semantics work across different languages.
Mohammad serves as a GSI for COMPFOR 111: "Computing's Impact on Justice: From Text to the Web" in WN26.
