On the Narrowing Definition of Computer Science
"The question that I am interested in is "what got left off the table?" What are the important parts of computing that are no longer part of our definiton of computer science? When did computer science get reduced to an economic opportunity?
We ought to enphasize alternative endpoints. We should stop thinking about computer science as getting a job, or only software development, instead of listening for alternative endpoints."
