Arab and Muslim American Studies and American Culture Professors Evelyn Alsultany and Matthew Stiffler were elected to the board of the Arab American Studies Association (AASA). They will each serve as Members-at-Large for a two-year term. AASA is a national nonprofit organization of scholars interested in the study of Arab American history, ethnicity, culture, literature, art, music, politics, religion, and other aspects of Arab American experience.
