About
Eboo Patel is the founder and president of Interfaith Youth Core, a non-profit organization that promotes interfaith leadership on colleg campuses. In addition to Out of Many Faiths: Religious Diversity and the American Promise, he is the author of Interfaith Leadership: A Primer; Sacred Ground: Pluralism, Prejudice, and the Promise of America; and Acts of Faith: The Story of an American Muslim, the Struggle for the Soul of a Generation. Named by U.S. News & World Report as one of America’s Best Leaders, Dr. Patel served on President Obama’s Inaugural Faith Council and holds a doctorate in the sociology of religion from Oxford University, where he studied on a Rhodes scholarship.
