About
Wendy Gutierrez Tashian is currently a Spanish Lecturer II at Residential College.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in education with a concentration in early childhood education from La Universidad del Sagrado Corazon in Lima, Peru and a master’s of business administration in education from La Universidad de Lima in Lima, Peru as well. She was part of the Ann Arbor Language Partnership (2011-2012) at the University of Michigan, where she served as curriculum translator and well as student observer. She participated in the En Nuestra Lengua (2011-2014) project at the University of Michigan, where she taught preschool to the children of native Spanish speakers for three years, helping them continue with their Spanish language and culture.
