About
Carolina Ormello is a Lecturer I in the Spanish program at the Residential College, University of Michigan. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Literature and Language, a second bachelor’s degree in Educational Management, and an International Certification in Teaching Spanish from the University of Salamanca, Spain, where she is also completing a Master’s in Spanish Language and Culture.
She has taught in Argentina and the United States at the secondary, university, and adult education levels, in both in-person and virtual settings. Her professional interests include integrating Latin American literature into Spanish language instruction, fostering communicative skills, and developing literary and intercultural competencies. She also teaches in En Nuestra Lengua, a University of Michigan literacy and culture program for Spanish-speaking families.
