Jules brings a well-articulated teaching philosophy and has excellent teaching experience. She excelled in the classroom teaching an environmental conservation course and developed and taught a food systems course based on her dissertation. She has won a teaching award, secured several teaching grants, and served as a teaching assistant or Graduate Teaching Consultant for multiple food systems and environment courses. Jules also has international experience, including work in several countries in the Global South. Jules has notable administrative experience – having to manage a large, multi-institution USDA grant – and secured a major ($500K) USDA grant for her dissertation research.
