Gifts to PitE allow students to engage in projects, research, internships, and field work that examine real-world problems and provide leadership immersion experiences. These experiences enable students to integrate and apply their skills to complex environmental and sustainability problems in ALL fields. PitE is a great example of interdisciplinary work in action, as our students are well-versed in the natural science, social science, and cultural impacts of climate change. To continue providing PitE’s amazing experiential learning opportunities, we need your help. Student Scholarships

Student Research
“A five-week trip to Naxos, Greece allowed for a research experience that taught me much more than any textbook or even US research trip could have provided. My personal research focused on how the aging of dry stone walls, important features of the Naxian landscape, may impact the reptiles and amphibians that rely on them. I’ve seen the value and challenges of academic research up close and that insight will help guide my next steps after college and throughout life.
