Karenna Mansour (she/her) is a first-year Master of Social Work student on the Interpersonal Practice in Integrated Health, Mental Health, and Substance Abuse pathway. She is a recent alumnus of the University of Michigan, having graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience with a minor in Community Action and Social Change. Her interests lie in the social and environmental determinants of mental and behavioral health, with a focus on Substance Use Disorders. As an undergrad, Karenna gained experience with peer facilitation and mental health advocacy work. She is passionate about improving access to and awareness of mental health resources, both on campus and in the greater community.
