About
Stephanie Harrell develops and executes marketing & communications plans for the institute and manages the Public Humanities Internship Program, working to increase engagement with the institute’s people and events, and promoting the value of the humanities to all.
She has a BA in English from the University of Michigan and an MS in integrated marketing communications from Eastern Michigan University. Previously, she was a stringer for local newspapers, worked in the magazine industry as an editor and writer, and honed her organizational and people skills during her many years of waiting tables. Outside of work, she serves on the board of Pilar's Foundation and is an active member of the housing cooperative where she lives.
