Rosa Razmi is from Rochester Hills, MI, and is pursuing her Masters in International and Regional Studies (MIRS) with a specialization in Middle Eastern and North African Studies (MENAS). On campus, Rosa works as a Graduate Student Assistant for MIRS. After graduation, Rosa hopes to work for a few years and then pursue her PhD.
Tell us about an influential experience you had in the program:
I was really grateful last year to be chosen to give a lightning talk for the admitted MIRS students. It's special to be an Iranian American, using research questions to motivate me and find answers that I've been wondering for years.
Future plans:
I hope to work for a few years in a research position or for a nonprofit organization. After building my experience, I hope to return to higher academia for my PhD.
