We are pleased to welcome Ram Mahalingam, Professor of Psychology, as the director of the Barger Leadership Institute. Ram brings tremendous strength to the BLI through his work on mindful leadership, which you can read more about here.

I am very excited to take the reins of BLI from the able hands of Jason Owen-Smith who had done a wonderful job in shaping its growth and development. BLI is at a critical juncture to take on a pioneering role in preparing future leaders to navigate the complex demands of a digitalized global era where connectedness, community engagement, and sustainability offer new leadership challenges. I look forward to working with you all to take BLI through the next phase of its development.
