Accessibility Guidelines & Quick Checklists

Testing Your Content

Manual Checks

  • Keyboard: Tab through all interactive elements; ensure no traps and visible focus.
  • Screen Reader: Test with VoiceOver (macOS/iOS) or NVDA (Windows).
  • Zoom/Reflow: At 200% zoom, content shouldn’t require horizontal scrolling.

Automated Aids

Note: Automated tools catch only part of the issues—always include manual testing.

  • Open Labs: Drop-in help for accessibility questions. View LSA Calendar
  • Custom Workshops: Request a session tailored to your team’s needs.
  • Self-Paced Learning: LinkedIn Learning modules available for staff.
