"Her Last Flight" is a documentary film. Lucille Roybal-Allard, is the first Mexican American woman to be elected to Congress. Now after 32 years in the House of Representatives the 82 year old legislator is retiring. But in her final months in office she has one last fight: to push through historic legislation that would end child labor in the United States (children as young as 12 years still work full-time as migrant laborers in the US. Every three days a child dies working in the agricultural industry. 33 children are injured every day); and to make sure the remaining 180 children who crossed the border with their parents, and were forcibly separated by the Trump administration are finally reunited after being taken from their families for nearly 5 years. Both are daunting tasks.

The film aims to be broadcasted nationally on PBS.
