This award recognizes outstanding contributions that connect U-M students to the world. Professor García-Amaya has developed innovative programs, secured funding, and mentored students—significantly broadening global learning opportunities at the University of Michigan. The award ceremony will be held on September 12 from 8:30–10 a.m. in the Rogel Ballroom at the Michigan Union.
