Christina is an MSW student at the School of Work with a concentration in Community Change. She is specifically looking to develop tools to help institutions initiate lasting change in internal and external organizational practices oppressive towards women, people of color, LGBTQ+ members, those coming from lower socioeconomic strata, and people with disabilities. As the MCSP Coordinator of Diversity Initiatives, she is excited to develop these tools alongside MCSP staff and students.
Prior to starting her MSW program, Christina was the Education and Community Engagement Programs Manager at the University Musical Society, where she helped build avenues for arts and humanities scholars to engage with communities in equitable and mutually beneficial ways. Before Ann Arbor, she worked at the Center of Arts Education, where she helped increase access to the arts for underrepresented NYC public school students. Christina graduated from The New School University's Culture and Media program with a minor in Economics.
Born and raised in the New York City area, Christina is obsessed with the New York City transportation system, pizza, and immigration and migration in America. In her free time, she binge-watches her favorite shows, takes walks with her dog/son (Chimichurri), and sings out loud whatever song comes to her mind.
