We warmly invite you to attend a special workshop with visiting scholar Roni Henig (Assistant Professor of Modern Hebrew Literature at New York University) on Monday, February 16, from 4:00 - 5:30 PM, in Thayer 2000.
Roni Henig will share, in dialogue with Prof. Maya Barzilai, her critical approach to the Hebrew language revival and its uncanny and even monstrous metaphoric. This workshop is based on Henig's recent book publication, "On Revival: Hebrew Literature between Life and Death" (UPenn Press, 2025), and we will circulate the Introduction ahead of the event. The book can also be accessed through our library.
