EIHS Symposium: Orders and the Unruly: Engaging Primary Sources
Kathryn Babayan, John Carson, Yanay Israeli, Farina Mir, Dario Gaggio (moderator)
This experimental symposium invites us to reflect on short pre-circulated primary sources from a variety of places and periods. How do historians read authority and its subversion in their sources? How do rules and unruliness produce and/or upset order(s) in different contexts?
This event presented by the Eisenberg Institute for Historical Studies. It is made possible in part by a generous contribution from Kenneth and Frances Aftel Eisenberg.
