About
Majors: Physics and German
Bio: Hi there! My name is Aimee Dubuque and I am a junior from Michigan. I am double majoring in Physics and German, but have many interests outside of those fields, such as medicine. I am going to be a resident in the Max Kade Haus, which is a residence hall dedicated to encouraging German speaking and practice. I also participate in research with the ATLAS team in the physics department. Outside of academics, I enjoy cooking, spending time outside with friends, thrifting and going to the gym.
I have lived in a small town all my life, so learning German in high school opened my eyes to the vast culture that lies beyond my life here. After taking four years of high school German, I started in German 232 and decided right away that I was in the right spot. I understand the challenges that come with finding a community here, as well as planning out academics. If you have any questions about major planning, course recommendations, getting involved in research or anything else, feel free to reach out!
