Armenians Apart: Connections, Disconnections, and Tensions in Premodern and Modern Diasporas
The call for papers is now open. Abstracts are due by November 15, 2025, with notifications of acceptance sent by December 15, 2025. Final papers or presentation drafts are due March 10, 2026, and the workshop will be held on April 10–11, 2026.

The University of Michigan’s Center for Armenian Studies promotes the study of the history, language, and culture of Armenia and Armenians and helps prepare a new generation of scholars in the field. Our mission is to provide programmatic support for a forward-thinking curriculum taught by its affiliated faculty, visiting fellows/scholars, and our two endowed chairs in Armenian Studies.
