Four teams are participating in our 2020 Capstone Program in Evidence-Based Leadership: SIFT, Community Finding, 3 Degrees and this year’s London Idea Project — Blueprints For Pangaea. Since we have a smaller number of teams this year, each team will now receive either $15,000 or $20,000 in project funding. Academic Program Manager/LEO Adjunct Lecturer Fatema Haque is working to transition curriculum for our weeklong Capstone “boot-camp” to remote learning by collaborating with new partners such as the University of Michigan Library to offer online research tutorials and Michigan Organizational Excellence, who will offer an introduction to Lean A-3 problem-solving. Through generous donor funding and extensive mentorship, student teams will continue this summer to collect and analyze sound, rigorous evidence; develop a project idea; create a budget; and implement the project by our final showcase in December.
Learn more about each team below in their first team deliverable -- a virtual introduction!
