About
Sabrina is a third-year Biomolecular Science major in the College of LSA with aspirations of pursuing medical school. She is passionate about advancing health equity and creating solutions to help bridge gaps in healthcare access. Originally from Jamaica, Sabrina founded a nonprofit that equips high school students there with the resources needed to excel in high school and beyond.
On campus, she is a part of the BLI Leadership Certificate program and she serves as a Student Ambassador with Intend to Attend, where she helps to support high school students as they explore post-secondary options. She is also the Vice President of Volunteering and Community Outreach for Cooking to Connect, where she leads cooking workshops and coordinates volunteer efforts on and off campus.
Sabrina was drawn to the BLI for the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from other student leaders while building a community rooted in shared purpose. Outside of her academic and leadership roles, she enjoys cooking and sharing the flavors of her Jamaican background.
