The deadline for submitting work to the 2026 Hopwood Awards writing contests is 11:59 p.m. (one minute before midnight) Eastern time on January 15th. No late submissions will be accepted. Contests are open to enrolled University of Michigan graduate and undergraduate students at all three campuses. The contests are free to enter.
