Sophie Reed recently graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Judaic Studies and highest honors in History. Her award-winning honors thesis, “A Weighty Legacy: Camp Shane and American Jewish Body Image,” received the John A. Williams Prize for Best Honors Thesis in United States History. During her four years at Michigan, Sophie has done extensive research as a research assistant across multiple fields, including neuroscience, History, Judaic Studies, and the Inclusive History Project.
