This special screening is a unique opportunity to view the 2012 performance of Rashaad Newsome's
Shade Compositions at SFMOMA in its entirety. The screening is presented as part of Newsome's residency at the Institute for the Humanities, where his installation
Chimera is currently on view through February 28th.
Followed by a post-film discussion and Q&A featuring Leslie Raymond, Director of the Ann Arbor Film Festival, Ricky Weaver, Assistant Professor at the Stamps School of Art, and moderated by Amanda Krugliak, Arts Curator at the Institute for the Humanities.
