About
I'm the Director of the Digital Scholarship and Creative Spaces department. In addition to my work at the University of Michigan, I'm a filmmaker, visual artist, and podcast producer. I have a PhD from the University of Minnesota’s Comparative Studies in Discourse and Society program, where I completed a multimodal dissertation on immigrant hip-hop in Minnesota. I was a Council on Library and Information Resources Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Minnesota Libraries, where I founded the Minnesota Hip-Hop Collection, part of the Givens Collection at the University of Minnesota Libraries.
